Chandoline Mitchell

From her first experience on the mat, Chandoline embraced yoga as a powerful transformative tool for creating balance, strength and peace within her life. With over 16 years of practicing and teaching yoga, she has now integrated the power of grief yoga therapy into her practice after facing the death of her sister. She successfully completed two of GSN’s grief yoga programs, “Awakening Through Grief” 6 Week Yoga Therapy and “From Grief to Gratitude” 9 Month Yoga Therapy as well as receiving her Yoga Therapy Teacher Training 200 Hour Certification. Chandoline has experienced that devastating loss can be a unique opportunity to rebuild ourselves as we experience a new-found appreciation of life. She offers her students the opportunity to find their light again and share the gifts they are meant to bring into the world. Chandoline’s list of accomplishments in the yoga arena include a one month 200-hour residential yoga teacher training program at the Sivananda Ashram in Northern California, as well as Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training with David Swenson, Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Young Warriors, Yoga Prison Project with James Fox, Yoga Nidra with Dr. Marc Halpern and many other workshops. She is the owner of Joyful Hands Massage, a massage and wellness studio, and has been doing Massage, reiki and healing work for over 22 years.
